A breakthrough, scarless procedure targeting the neck and jowl
What is the Boomer Lift?
More than any generation before them, Baby Boomers and Generation X have demonstrated a proactive commitment to maintaining a youthful appearance as they age. The Boomer Lift, developed and trademarked by Kirk Brandow, MD FAACS, is specifically designed for individuals in these age groups. This procedure serves as an alternative to traditional facelifts for people seeking to address concerns of the jowl, neck, and jawline without undergoing a full facelift. It involves less invasiveness, reduced cost, minimal downtime, and results in no visible scarring.
The Boomer Lift provides a customized solution specifically developed for individuals with active lifestyles, reflecting modern approaches to redefining the aging experience.
Who is a Candidate for the Boomer Lift?
- People who are satisfied with their dermal filler treatments have begun to observe laxity of the skin along the neck and jawline. Those who prefer a two-stage approach may undergo the neck and jawline procedure initially, with facial dermal fillers administered during a subsequent visit within 6–12 months.
- People who have experienced significant weight loss and are now presenting with sagging or lax skin.
- People concerned about visible scarring in front of the ear , who want neck and jawline tightening with minimal downtime and discreet scars.
- People who may have already had a full facelift but have noticed recurrent sagging and aging in their neck and jowls while their face still looks good.
- People in their late 50s through 70s who desire improvement of laxity beneath the chin, neck, and jowls, yet prefer not to undergo a full facelift or alter their overall facial appearance.
Procedure for the Boomer Lift
The Boomer Lift takes several hours for Dr. Brandow to perform and is under anesthesia. The procedure begins with liposuction of the neck and followed by tightening of the neck bands under the chin area. An incision is made at the bottom of the ear and carried up the back of the ear and into the hairline. The skin is tightened behind the ear and a drain is placed to prevent bleeding overnight. A head dressing is placed over the head and face for the night. Most patients will need the use of our overnight concierge services.
Additional Procedures With the Boomer Lift
- EYELID AND BROW SURGERY: Eyelid and/or brow lifts are frequently performed in conjunction with The Boomer Lift.
- FAT TRANSFER: Numerous patients experience positive outcomes through autologous fat transplantation, which involves transferring fat from their own bodies to areas such as laugh lines, frown lines, marionette lines, lower eyelid margins, and cheeks.
- CO2 LASER RESURFACING: C02 Fraxil Laser can be used in conjunction with The Boomer Lift. Depending on the patient’s skin condition, we tailor our approach by either treating the entire face or focusing on specific areas such as the eyes or mouth.
