Neck Liposuction

Neck liposuction is done on an out-patient basis. General anesthesia is used during chin liposuction for safety and comfort in the hospital or out-patient surgery center.

Chin Liposuction Procedure Description

Chin liposuction is done on an out-patient basis using general anesthesia to ensure patient safety and comfort in the hospital or out-patient surgery center. If neck lipo is performed at The Brandow Clinic, a local anesthetic will be utilized. During chin liposuction Dr. Kirk Brandow, will insert tiny cannulas are inserted beneath the skin through very small incisions placed in inconspicuous locations around the neck. Unwanted fat is then removed to enhance contours.


Recuperation and Healing from Neck Liposuction

Following neck liposuction, the patient returns home with a compression garment (an exercise unitard that covers the treated areas following your surgery). The compression garment is advised for about a month as it can reduce swelling and ensure optimal healing. Initial discomfort from neck lipo is easily controlled with oral medication. Bruising and swelling usually subside in 2-4 weeks. The final result takes shape over 2-9 months.

Insurance Guidelines

Neck liposuction is considered a cosmetic procedure and is therefore not covered by insurance. The patient is responsible for payment.
