In addition to the many other spa services that we offer, micro needling and PRP facials have now been added to the list! Micro needling is a non-surgical procedure in which micro-needles are used to create controlled micro-injuries to the skin. This initiates the skins repair process to naturally produce collagen and elastin, and is ideal for smoothing fine lines, wrinkles and acne scars. A small amount of blood is drawn from the patient, and the red blood cells are isolated from the Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP). This is then applied to the skin to expedite the body’s own repair process and stimulate new collagen.
